Grade 5 Aviation Trip

GD Goenka Global School’s Grade 5 Soars into Aviation History To supplement their inquiry on “How We Organize Ourselves,” Grade 5 students from GD Goenka Global School went on a trip to the Air Force Museum in Palam to gather information regarding aviation technology. The trip to the museum was indeed an educational tour of sorts where children had some great experiences viewing the displays of warplanes, cockpit seats and even life size models of fighter jets. They explored pilot uniforms, learning about courageous war heroes and examining historical weapons and equipment. The highlight was experiencing aviation firsthand, sitting in cockpit models and imagining life as a pilot. This enriching trip sparked their curiosity about technological advancements in aviation, leaving a lasting impression and inspiring them to reach for the skies. It was a memorable day of learning and discovery.
