Grade 4 Guest Speaker
Exploring Sri Lanka: Guest Speaker Session Enriches Grade 4 Inquiry
As part of their inquiry into the transdisciplinary theme “Where We Are in Place and Time,” our Grade 4 students had the exciting opportunity to attend a guest speaker session led by Ananya’s mother, who shared fascinating insights about famous places in Sri Lanka.
Through her engaging presentation, students explored Sri Lanka’s rich cultural heritage, historical landmarks, and natural beauty. From ancient cities and sacred temples to scenic landscapes and UNESCO World Heritage Sites, they gained a deeper understanding of the country’s unique history and geography.
The session sparked great curiosity and enthusiasm among the students. They asked thoughtful questions, made personal connections, and reflected on how places shape a nation’s identity.
We sincerely thank Ananya’s mom for her time and effort in making this session meaningful and inspiring. Experiences like these help broaden our students’ worldviews and nurture a true sense of international mindedness.
