Grade 5 Parliament House Visit

“Empowering Young Minds Through Real-World Learning at the Indian Parliament”

With the efforts of our senior leadership Chairperson Mr. Pankaj Sehgal and Mr. Vineet Chadha, Grade 5 students of GD Goenka Global School had the proud opportunity to visit the Indian Parliament, on the special invitation of the Hon’ble Speaker of the Lok Sabha, Mr. Om Birla.

During this memorable visit, the students had a remarkable learning experience, exploring the workings of Parliament with curiosity and enthusiasm. As part of their Unit of Inquiry, ‘How We Organize Ourselves,’ they discovered how technology plays a key role in organising, managing, and supporting the essential functions of governance.

From understanding how parliamentary systems operate to observing how technology facilitates communication and decision-making, our students made meaningful connections between classroom learning and real-world practices.

It was a day filled with inspiration, inquiry, and reflection—a powerful example of learning that goes beyond the classroom.
