Japanese Cultural Exchange Program

What a vibrant day of cultural interaction at GD Goenka Global School! On August 13th, we observed the spectacular Japanese Obon Festival with our amazing students from Early Years to Grade 5.

Dressed in beautiful red and white attire, our students dove into a variety of authentic activities. The day was filled with an insightful presentation on the festival’s significance and a joyful traditional Bon dance.

A huge thank you to our incredible Japanese parent community, who volunteered their time and passion to organize various traditional games and activities in this invaluable cultural exchange program. Engaging cultural interaction brought a truly authentic experience to life for our students.
