Grade 4 commemorated Independence Day with their assembly-themed “True Freedom: Beyond Independence,” delving into the profound essence of freedom. Through engaging role plays, inspiring freedom songs, thought-provoking skits, and heartfelt speeches, students conveyed that genuine freedom transcends mere political sovereignty. The celebration emphasized the concept of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam—”the world is one family”—beautifully aligned with the IB philosophy of “one world, one family.” This event left a lasting impact, inspiring everyone to reflect on the broader meaning of freedom.
