Grade 1 Participated in Data handling activity

Data handling is an important aspect of numeracy. It involves collecting, representing, and analyzing data in order to generate conclusions.
Children were introduced to the concept of data handling through kinesthetic activity. They were encouraged to collect information and display the records accurately in the form of a list, table, or tally chart.
The student agency of Grade 1 showed voice, choice, and ownership while collecting data of the birthdates of their peers and displayed their understanding in the form of pictographs with a lot of creativity.
